This spectacular sunset was captured at the world famous La Jolla Shores Beach just south of Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California. A couple (at center of frame) enjoys the last rays of the seting sun as they illuminate the clouds with and create gold toned reflections on the Pacific Ocean and the wet sands of La Jolla Shores beach. The pier seems to be reaching for the sunset.
